Creation Myths¶

How the world began depends entirely on who you ask and their agendas regarding its origins. That being said, most traditions agree that the world came into being via the union of Ilhdeinir and Osnitan.

Their joining created both the physical world and the divine children who would later shape it. This initial creation established fundamental natural laws before specific domains were assigned to their offspring. A particularly vivid version I heard from a priestess in Bairora described Ilhdeinir weaving reality from her own hair. When I asked about the practical mechanics of this arrangement, I was informed that “some mysteries transcend mortal understanding,” which I've found to be shorthand for "I haven't thought about the logical implications of this story."
