Violet Lantern¶

A compact iron-framed lantern that burns with the same violet ward-light Kairān Ālthom laid down across Idemar's streets, miniaturized into portable form. The wicking holds a charge of Kairān's spellwork good for roughly thirty days before it needs recharging at the Lantern Yards or by someone with knowledge of the spell needed to maintain it. The flame will not go out in wind or rain; only deliberate action extinguishes it.
